Dennis Pappas is Rocky’s brother, and even though his regular job is very different from the job of guiding - he is the person at CenturyLink who is responsible for all Colorado construction other than that in Metro Denver - he is a superb people person and a great outdoorsman. He has guided since the mid ‘80’s and has worked with Rocky at either the South Camp or Nine Mile since 2000.

Dennis truly enjoys guiding hunters, whether it’s first-timers or seasoned veterans, although he claims that someone who has hunted for a few years is more apt to go out multiple times looking for the right animal, while a newbie is more apt to shoot the first legal animal he sees.  He says that optics – binoculars, spotting scope, rifle scope – are the most important tool in hunting, whether as a guide or as a hunter.
